Carers digital contingency plan engagement session – 2nd May 2024.

An in-person engagement session is being planned to seek views of carers / professionals who work with carers, on a new digital app we are developing for carers in West Yorkshire. Carer contingency plans are for a situation where an unpaid carer cannot care and/or the level of care they provide for a family member or friend needs adjusting. Contingency plans describe the actions to take in these circumstances. This will be ½ day taking place at the Village South Hotel, Leeds. It will be an interactive session with the opportunity to feedback on digital designs and developed app. As venue space is limited, we’re keen to invite carers and colleagues who work directly with carers to be part of this engagement. Attendance is on a voluntary basis for individuals who wish to attend. It will not be digitally available for those who can’t attend as we don’t have facilities to record the session.
