All new patients are requested to attend a new patient health check (please bring a sample of urine) – this enables us to obtain details of your past medical problems and to provide better care. We also offer health checks for patients over 75 years of age.

Did you know we have Blood pressure machines in all of our sites where you can check your height, weight, BMI and blood pressure all at the same time? Ask one of our team if you are unsure how to use and we will show you how. Once you have your information, simply pass it to reception and we will update your record.

We offer an extensive range of contraceptive services, including contraceptive pills, injections, intrauterine devices (coils) and patches and contraceptive implants. Alternatively, please contact CASH clinic at Broad Street Plaza (01422 261370). Contraceptive advice is provided by all the doctors during surgery hours and also by the nurses.

We offer an annual diabetes review for all our diabetes registered patients completed by one of our GP’s or trained Nurse. Ongoing care plans are created depending on individual need including regular review. If you have any concerns relating to your diabetes and need any advice or support, please contact the Practice via reception, engage consult or Online services

We hold an annual review with all our Asthma patients. This is led by our Asthma Nurses and GP’s. This can be completed by appointment over the phone, via video call or if required by a clinician, face to face. Please contact the Practice if you believe your review is overdue and book an appointment.

You will be asked to complete a questionnaire ahead of your annual review. Please take the time to complete this as this assists the practice in offering you an appropriate appointment.

All the clinicians at the surgery are trained to manage skin problems. You may be referred to dermatology for further management of your skin condition.

All our GP’s can support patients with CHD. We offer annual reviews with all of our registered CHD patients and aim to have tailored care plans designed to help proactively manage this with those affected.

Childhood immunisations and first medicals are carried out by our Nursing team and GP. They can offer advice and guidance during your child’s appointment. If you have any concerns relating to your child’s health, please contact the Practice to speak to one of our team.

Patients are seen by the midwife at Jubilee Centre clinic by appointment. They can also make an appointment to be seen by a GP during surgery hours.

We have flu vaccination appointments available with our Nurses. We are also running our Covid vaccination clinic on Friday afternoons and Saturday and Sunday mornings. If you are one of our patients you can receive your flu vaccine during this clinic as well as your covid vaccination, just let one of our team know when you attend.
